Installation

The Installation Process

  1. After you have placed an order with us we will schedule an installer to come to your home or business.
  2. When the installer arrives he will conduct a site survey to ensure that a signal is available.
  3. Next, the installer will confirm where and how the antenna shall be mounted for optimum performance.
  4. A cable will be run from the antenna and terminated to the VABB subscriber unit.
Note: The standard installation does not include any in-building cabling or trenching. We can arrange for a custom installation at an additional charge.
  5. Finally, the connection will be tested by the installer at the subscriber unit and at your computer to ensure the connection is functioning properly.

What we provide:

  1. An antenna will be mounted on your roof or the best location for signal reception.

We have 2 types of antennas that are used in the installation process.

    • A yagi antenna

We use this type of high performance antenna for most of our installations. It allows a greater gain of radio signal.
    • A flat panel antenna

This type of antenna is used when the radio signal strength from your broadcaster is very strong. Up to 75 feet of CAT 5/Ethernet cable will run from the antenna to the inside of home or business
  2. Subscriber Unit that will connect to your wireless router
or directly to the ethernet port on your computer.
