General Broadband Service Questions
- How does your service work?
- VABB is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP). Broadband Service is available through various mediums, like cable, DSL or wireless through satellite or RF (radio frequency). VABB provides High-Speed Internet Service using RF in a fixed wireless configuration.
- What is your installation process?
- Please take a moment to view our installation process.
- Can I have more than one computer on your service?
- Yes. Multiple computers may utilize the same Internet connection at the subscriber location. A router connected to the subscriber unit will be required.
- What is the difference in your service levels?
- Monthly usage limits. Depending on your need a we have 4 service plans designed for the occasional user all the way up to gaming and telecommuting. View our plans
- Will trees affect the ability for me to get service?
- Not necessarily. We operate primarily in a non-line of sight technology. Our signal will penetrate sparse tree cover but rapidly degrades through miles of thick tree canopy.
- How Secure is your system?
- Your VABB connection is very secure. We've built-in security using carrier grade technology continuously authenticating from your location to ours.
- What is your coverage area?

- How do I setup up my E-mail?

- Can I upgrade my service at any time?
- Yes. At anytime you can upgrade your service plan with no additional installation charges. Fees will be assessed for downgrades.
- Do I have a Contract?
- Yes. There is a 12 or 24 month commitment for service. After you have met the terms of the contract your service is provided on a month to month basis with no contractual time limits.
- Will bad weather affect my ability to get a good signal?
- Unlike satellite television and broadband solutions, our signal quality is immune to dense storm clouds. Cable television and broadband can also be affected by soaking rains/snow, thus reducing your quality of service until street level equipment can be repaired or dried out. Look at an antenna covered with ice and still functioning properly.
- Can I access my VABB.COM e-mail account from any computer?
- Yes. VABB offers it's customers a web browser based e-mail interface, much like Yahoo, Hotmail and other web-based mail services. You can therefore access your mail from work, a friend's house, or virtually any other computer connected to the Internet. To access your VABB WebMail account, go to: mail.vabb.com
- Will I need an outdoor antenna for your service?
- Yes, a high performance Yagi antenna is required for virtually all installations. In some cases, a small, square antenna that measures 9x9x2 in size may be used. We go to great lengths to ensure each installation is discrete, using professional installers and top quality materials.
- Can I share my VABB connection with my neighbor?
- No. Doing so would violate your Subscriber Agreement.
- Are there any bandwidth limitations to your service?
Yes. Our service plans are based on monthly bandwidth usage.

- How much Web Space do I get?
- We do not provide Web Hosting services. There are many vendors to provide this service if you need it.
- Do you register domain names?
- We no longer provide registration services. There are many vendors to provide this service if you need it.
- Is your service compatible with VPN?
- Yes. Our service is VPN friendly. A static IP is available for an additional $5 per month.
- How do I know if I qualify for service?
- Sign up now or call us at 877-299-VABB(8222) and one of our sales associates will review your address to determine if your residence qualifies for service.
